Define your experience in the IMBA in one word.
Life changing

What were some of the main challenges that you encountered on your way? How did your master program and IE help you through these challenges?
Everyone in IE was very supportive from the beginning. I do not recall any major challenges, which it is a good sign.

How did your experience at IE prepare you for your professional career? In what ways do you think program has changed your life professionally and personally?
First, I met my husband in the program and together we have lived in 5 places. Professionally, the program opened me to different opportunities outside the previous experience. The MBA teaches you a set of analytical tools that will be useful forever.

What was networking like in the program?
We were all a close group of classmates that spent hours together, we built a strong connection among us that still lasts.

What was your favorite memory from your time at IE?

If someone was considering going to IE, what would you tell them?
Best decision I made.

Why did you choose to study this program at IE?
I was looking for an MBA in Spain because I did not want to study overseas again. The IMBA was in English and had international students, also the 15-month program duration was a plus.

What is one thing you wished you knew, when you were a student? What advice would you give to students who are about to begin the program?
To enjoy it to 100%

Tell us about the IE alumni community and the impact they have had in your life and/or career. Why do you think it’s important to engage with the IE alumni community?
We created a bond in our class that still lasts. You will make the best and most special friends.

As one of the first contributors towards the Illuminated Bricks campaign, how does it feel? We are giving the opportunity to someone to access and experience the IE education. We are helping them to access a higher education that will impact their future lives and careers.

What made you decided to give your first gift?
The testimonials from students that have received scholarships from the foundation.

In your opinion, why is it important to give back? Why does this cause matter to you?
I have always considered myself to be privileged to have had the opportunity to receive an amazing education all my life and to have a stable social status. I believe that the best gift you can give to others is education. It changes someone’s future.

What would you tell someone who was thinking about contributing?
It was a very easy process; it took 1 minute and you can contribute to change someone’s destiny.
